Hi, I'm B, Bernadine being my whole name but only strangers call me that.

I’m the designer, maker, creator and #allthethings at Me 'n' My Hook. 6 or 7 years ago I learned to crochet to save myself some cash on a pouffe - HA jokes on me! Over the years I’ve made a variety of things but my favourite makes are blankets, shawls and wearables.

I really believe, 1 - that there is nothing more special than a handmade gift, 2 - everyone should have a handmade blanket, especially made for them, at least once in their life.

This belief and my love of crochet inspired my journey into designing in 2020. Crochet is a way for me to treat myself and others, but also gives me the space every day to take some mental health time for myself.

Today I design mostly, shawls, scarves, size inclusive wearables for women and bags. My aim is to enable others to make and gift their makes with pride with easy to read, and recreate, crochet patterns.
